here we go:

Discovery Tour- California
March 28, It’s time for me to make my way to the airport in Minneapolis, headed to San Francisco. Already there I meet other EF exchange students and we we’re all excited for the upcoming week. After all I can say that it definitely waaay over came all my expectations, it was just an amazing & unforgettable week. J I’m thankful that EF gave me the chance to experience California, and especially receiving grateful for receiving one of the scholarships. Everyone did amazing work to give us the chance to experience one of t
he greatest weeks, EF chaperones as well as our awesome tour guide.
Our first two days we discovered San Francisco, riding in on of the legendary cable cars, lots of sightseeing, discovering San Francisco’s history & visiting the Island Alcatraz. My absolute highlight was walking the Golden Gate bride, it was an amazing feeling and the view on the city was just absolutely breathtaking. All of us had a hard time saying goodbye to this amazing city already after just two days, “We left our heart and soul in San Francisco”- lyrics of a song that really nailed it. But nevertheless, the thought of Los Angeles made us get over it pretty fast and excitement to see Hollywood, Beverly hills and Venice Beach grew. After a day in the bus along the coast, and a stop in the beautiful town of Santa Barbara for dinner, we finally arrived LA late at night. Of course, everyone was tired but excited for what the next few days will bring. The next day early in the morning we headed out for Hollywood, spend time at the legendary walk of fame, Farmers Market & shopping and even got a real feeling of LA by meeting one or two celebrities. Wow, Los Angeles really is the home of the stars. J
The next two days were packed again sightseeing and a lot of free time, we discovered Beverly Hills, walked along the legendary Rodeo Drive and even went to the Universal Studios and not to forget about the Hard Rock Café J
Our last day we spent at the “happiest place on earth”- Disney Land! We had the whole day to our selves and all of us enjoyed tons of rides and attractions. Especially the fireworks at night were amazing, it was breathtaking but also made us realize that the next day it was already time to say good bye. We just spent one week together but got so close, and all of us got sad by the thought of saying goodbye to our new won friends. I met so many amazing people there & made memories that will always stay in my heart!
